This is the 9th day of the pilgrimage to Mecca, where pilgrims gather on the mountain plain of Arafa to pray for forgiveness and be thankful for their blessings. Muslims who are not at the pilgrimage will fast from sunrise to sunset this day.
Students may be fasting this day.
